Popped in to get 2 cod and chips. Never been here before, not busy but very long wait, unfriendly lady behind the counter. Also very expensive.
Very big portions but the 'cod' was completely tasteless. We wondered if it was actually cod, no taste at all. The chips were good, which is why I've given them 2 stars.

Ordered food for dinner at 7:10 and it never showed up went to ring them and turns out it closes 9. Wouldn't recommend to anyone! 😡

Overall a good experience. The staff were very polite and welcoming. The dining area appeared nice and clean as was the gents washroom, my friend also commented how nice and clean the ladies washroom was. We both had the fish & chip special with bread & butter and a coffee which was really lovely. On the menu for dessert we spotted Battered Mince Pie with Icecream which was rather unusual so decided to try it, it turned-out to be really nice. The service was very good and did not have to wait very long as it was not very busy at the time. I can certainly recommend this fish & chip restaurant and will definitely use again.

went on Sunday lunchtime it was excellent even went to the gentleman cooking to say what a good fish fryer he was.went Thursday teatime it was awful.fish batter horrible tasted like dirty oil.Chips tasted like they had been cooked ages ago.Noticed it was a lady cooking.Will go again but will look who is behind the fryers first as obviously it makes a difference.update:3.03.19
All you ask of a restaurant is consistency.
This still is hit and miss. Went two weeks ago it was brilliant. Went yesterday it was awful.update 20.12 2024,what a difference, this is worth 5 stars now.value for money,prompt service,pensioner special fried to perfection.

The chips have a really odd taste, repeating on me, very reasonable prices, young lad staff lovely, but won't be back because of the horrid tasting chips.

Called for a Takeaway, restaurant was busy and only 2 staff to deal with everything!
Waited at least 20-25 minutes and expected a good plate of fish and chips when I got home, not the case,
fish was over cooked and chips scraggy, ie: not enough staff, a disappointed customer and will not be returning.
Staff did apologise, not their fault.

Ordered through the louth to mouth app and can't review so il do it here. Absolutely disgusting! How my food came is unacceptable!! Mushy peas tasted like water and the chips must of been recooked atleast 5 times! How you can send food out like that is beyond me! Whole order went in the bin! They couldn't even be bothered to put salt and vinegar on, it came in a sachet. Such a waste of money!!!

Popped in for lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The fish and chips came with mushy peas, bread and butter, and a lovely cappuccino. The portion size was very generous and very good value. The staff were friendly, welcoming and professional. Would definitely recommend.

If you want delivery don’t bother! Can’t even turn up to deliver the food over an hour! Rang twice was told be 5 minutes and 25 minutes later it turned up once I had rang again previously and cancelled order due to how long it was taking! Boring in mind it’s a weekday not a weekend and I live in Louth! Doesn’t do the ranch any good being same owners!

Exactly what I want from a Fish and chips.
Haddock clearly very very fresh, not over cooked like most places. Batter super fresh and light.
Gravy was a big surprise, thick with super bold flavour and the curry sauce wasn't far behind.
Chips decent, couldn't fault them.
Also small haddock and chips was just £7.95 and the portion is more than enough for anyone.

Came here for fish and chips and left feeling very satisfied! Haddock was perfectly cooked with a light batter and gravy I ordered on the side had a beautiful depth of flavour. Service was prompt and overall a thoroughly enjoyed lunch.
